The United States Department of Justice has sen letters to officials in Philadelphia, Chicago, New Orleans, Las Vegas, Miami, Milwaukee, New York, Cook County, Illinois, and the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation. The letters ask for proof that the cities are cooperating with immigration enforcement and indicate that they could be at risk of losing grants. Proof is to be sent by the end of June.
