DAVENPORT, Iowa - Hundreds of runners and walkers were up early on this Thanksgiving morning to take part in the 33rd annual YMCA Turkey Trot in Davenport.
Runners took part in a one mile, 5K or a 5 mile option.
KWQC TV6 reports the annual tradition has contributed $2 million since it started in 1986.
Money raised will benefit Camp Abe Lincoln, Child Care, Livestrong Cancer Programs, Youth Outreach Workers and provides financial assistance to 20% of YMCA members.
