So the Rock Island/Milan School Board votes to go with a developer that works with CVS Pharmacies.

The neighbors of the old Audubon School site already poo-pooed a deal with the grocery store chain Fareway. Too much traffic, no parking, and too many trucks were the reasons given.

Fareway closes on Sundays and holidays...I don't believe CVS does. And by the way, I believe CVS is open 24/7. I also believe CVS has its inventory delivered by semis not SUVs.

What I'm saying is, I can't wait to see how neighbors react to a CVS being built and how will city council respond. Will they favor drugs over food?
