The Davenport Planning and Zoning Commission meets Tuesday at 6 p.m. It should easily go until after dark, and thus we can speak of the Childrens' Night Out. If you have the early evening free, it should be a very entertaining meeting.

You have, for example, people who bought houses in the neighborhood in the 1990's who express surprise that there is a college in their neighborhood.

Really?

And the college is tired of playing its home games at Brady Street Stadium, where the high school kids play on Friday nights.

How inconsiderate of the college. They should be grateful the neighborhood lets them have a football team.

A very interesting night is in coming. The real question is the common sense of the Planning and Zoning Commission. A question of whether they have any common sense.

Lets talk about it this afternoon at 2pm!
