Having just completed the vile task of giving government drones a huge amount of money to spend that they did not earn, one's attention is drawn to "tax freedom day." The day when the workers in the United States have made enough money to pay for state and federal drunken spending for the year.

It's April 21st. The bill is 3 trillion dollars for the feds, and 1.5 trillion for the idiots at the state level.

Just to make the point that the study of history has value, Tax Freedom Day in 1900, when the franchise (the vote) was not nearly as "democratic," fell on January 22nd.

April 21st your money is all yours, or January 22nd your money is all yours. Which would you choose? Just asking.
