A Davenport man is heading to prison for a crash that left a bicyclist dead. The Quad-City Times reports Andre Shaw recently received a sentence of up to seven years behind bars after a guilty plea last month.
The accident in the 17-hundred block of Brady Street happened last July and it killed David Freeland. Shaw will get credit for almost six months spent in jail, but Freeland's estate will receive 150-thousand-dollars in restitution.
