The Rock Island County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in identifying a man pulled from the Mississippi River Sunday afternoon.
The man's body was found by a boater near the I-280 Bridge around 1:30. Authorities say the body had been in the water for an extended time and are working to identify the man.
The latest information is the man is an adult, had a tattoo on his left forearm and had surgery to his right leg as screws and metal plates were used for stabilization.
