East Moline, Illinois A Rock Island man is facing a list of charges after leading police on a chase Tuesday. It started around 3:50 a.m. when police were called to 5th Street for a suspicious person report. Officers say a vehicle leave that area and when they tried to stop it the driver took off.
The driver then crashed and took off running. 18 year old D'Angilo Davis was arrested a short time later. Police say he had a loaded gun on him. The vehicle Davis was driving was reported stolen from a nearby home.
Davis is charged with possession of a stolen vehicle, aggravated unlawful use of a weapon, aggravated fleeing and eluding a peace officer.
East Moline police are also investigating the theft of another vehicle that happened around the same time as Davis' arrest. That vehicle was found unoccupied in East Moline.
