Davenport Police are investigating a carjacking.
Police were called to the Wendy's on W. Locust Street. The victim said he had pulled into the parking lot to talk on his phone. He was approached by a man who asked him if he had any marijuana. The victim said no and that is when the suspect pulled out a gun and ordered the victim to hand over all of his money. The victim gave the man what money he had, got out of his car and ran away.
That is when the suspect got inside the car and drove off.
Police continue to investigate. So far, police have not yet released a description of the vehicle involved.
