CLINTON, Iowa -- Another arrest has been made in a deadly hit-and-run in Clinton on August 30th.
A fugitive task force out of Chicago arrested Eddie Lee Crout Jr. on Thursday. Police say he was the driver of a vehicle that struck Emiliano Barrios. A warrant had been issued for Crout's arrest on September 18th. He is awaiting extradition.
Clinton Police earlier reported that the owner of the vehicle, Samantha Jo Spadaro of Clinton was located and arrested. Spadaro was charged with providing false reports to a public safety entity.
