California has more than its share of mind-altered people. The lady from Cameron Park ran out of gas. She waved down a police officer in his police car and asked for a ride to get gas. The officer even loaned her the gas can. She bought the gas, and he gave her a ride back to her stolen car.
The officer ran the plates and found it had been reported stolen. He arrested her. After the arrest he searched the vehicle and found methamphetamine.
