The Scott County Board of Supervisors on Thursday night voted to “strongly encourage” people to wear face masks, instead of making it a requirement.
It would cover all public spaces where maintaining safe social distancing is not possible or impractical.
The board is waiting to vote on whether they will require people to wear masks in county facilities.
