A Clinton man is behind bars for attempted murder.
The Clinton Police Department say around 6:15 Thursday night, officers were called to the Chancy Fire Station after a 46 year old man with gunshot wounds showed up there in a private vehicle.
Investigators say the victim had wounds to his left arm and torso and was transported to Iowa City with non-life threatening injuries. Police say the investigation led them to a home near 14th and Sabula Avenue where the shooting took place. Police arrested 34 year old Karlyn Kurtus Kalina for attempted murder in connection to the shooting.
Kalina is being held in the Clinton County Jail on a $100,000 cash only bond.
