Scott County is among the latest Iowa counties to be approved for federal storm aid. on Tuesday FEMA added Scott and nine other counties to its list of counties that have been approved for individual assistance.
Scott County homeowners, renters and business can get help with housing, personal property replacement and medical expenses.
There is no word on just how much Scott County's needs are. Scott County was already approved for public assistance from FEMA for the costs to local governments from last month's storm.
