President Trump announced the launch of section 301 trade investigations into China’s business practices for theft of U.S. technology and violations of U.S. intellectual property rights. This is going to get interesting. China sells us half a trillion dollars worth of goods every year. They invented gunpowder. They did not invent the television, radio, washing machine and computer industries. They "borrowed" that technology.
The NAFTA trade talks this week are a big deal, but the trade deficit with China is the elephant in the room.
