Team USA Men's Hockey Team Bounces Back With Win Over Slovakia

Team USA bounced back from their opening loss to Slovakia defeating Slovakia 2-1 at the Gangneung hockey Centre. Ryan Donato scored both goals for the U.S. including the game-winner with less than three minutes left in regulation.  

Goalie Ryan Zapolski turned aside 21 of 22 shots and forward Chris Bourque had a pair of assists in the victory. 

Andrej Kudrna scored the only goal of the game for Slovakia just 25 seconds after Donato gave Team USA a 1-0 lead.

Team USA currently sits atop Group B with four points after two games in the preliminary round. They will finish the preliminary round with a tough game against the Olympic Athletes from Russia on Saturday (9:10 p.m. Korea/7:10 a.m. ET).
