Marshall County Courthouse Dome Removed

MARSHALLTOWN, Iowa-- Construction crews this week removed the tornado-damaged dome on the Marshall County Courthouse in Marshalltown. The spire atop the courthouse dome was ripped off by the July, 2018 EF3 twister. The storm did extensive damage in Marshalltown. The courthouse repair project meant crews had to lift off what was left of the dome.The Marshall County Courthouse was built in 1886.
