Reynolds vetoes medical marijuana expansion

Des Moines, Iowa -- Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds has vetoed a bill that would have expanded the state's medical cannabis law. In a statement, Reynolds says she can't support language in the bill that replaces a three percent limit on THC with a limit of 25 grams per 90-day period. The bill also changed the definition of “pain” and the standard use for dosing. It also would have allowed physician’s assistants and nurse practitioners to prescribe cannabis medications.
