Access To Teen's Case Cut Off After Verdict

A criminal case involving a boy accused of trying to shoot a teacher last year is now sealed off from public view. The case of Luke Andrews was moved from adult court back to juvenile court Thursday after a jury found him guilty of some charges Wednesday.

However, the jury found Andrews not guilty of attempted murder and the judge agreed to restrict access to information.

Prosecutors said Andrews tried to kill his teacher last August at North Scott Junior High School, but the gun's safety device prevented any shots from being fired.
