Non-profit Buys Former Davenport School

If all goes as planned, the Davenport School Board will sell the former Lincoln School to the non-profit, Together Making a Better Community.

The group made a $30,000 offer for the building and plan to use it as a youth center and offer parenting classes.

KWQC TV6 reports another offer of $290,000 was made by local developer, Dan Dolan to buy the former school but the school board did not accept that offer.
