The City of Davenport is getting ready for next month's primary city races.
Residents can meet the candidates at a City Candidate Forum on Tuesday, September 10th from 5:30 until 8 p.m. at the downtown Davenport Public Library. Doors will open at 5 p.m. and it is open to the public.
Mayoral candidates will first be introduced and questioned. Residents can also meet the candidates in the 8 wards of the city. Members of the audience will be able to submit questions to the candidates.
A second Meet the Candidate forum will be held on September 26th.
The primary election is October 8th and the election will be November 5th.
