Iowa And U.S. Flags At Half-Staff On 9/11

Iowa - Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds ordered flags be lowered to half-staff in observance of the anniversary of the September 11th terror attacks.

Governor Reynolds ordered them to be lowered from sunrise to sunset on Wednesday to remember an honor those killed in the attacks 18 years ago.

Nearly 3,000 people were killed at the World Trade Center Towers in New York City, the Pentagon in Washington D.C. and on a flight that crashed near Shanksville, Pennsylvania.343 firefighters, 60 police officers from several departments and 8 emergency medical technicians and paramedics died that day.
