Five teenagers from Davenport are charged with burglary.
Davenport Police were called to a home in the 4300 block of Washington Street Sunday at 11:20 a.m. The residents reported that several bicycles had been taken from a shed.
Police soon located a group of juveniles near Kimberly and Marquette Street. They ranged in age from 14 to 16. According to police, the juveniles were in possession of the missing bikes. Police also report that the teens were in possession of items that may be related to other burglaries.
The teens were lodged in the detention center and officers are following up on this incident and to see if there were other burglaries in the area.
