MUSCATINE COUNTY, Iowa - Two people are hospitalized after an apparent domestic disturbance at Wildcat Den State Park around 1 p.m. Friday.
KWQC TV6 reports the Muscatine County Sheriff's Office received a call the disturbance was between a man and a woman and that the man "attacked/attempted to attack" a female with a hatchet.
When deputies arrived the man had already left the area. He was found about an hour later and apparently fell about 50 feet from a cliff. That man has "significant injuries".
The woman was taken to a hospital in Muscatine and the man taken to a hospital in Davenport. Their conditions are not known.
