EAST MOLINE, Illinois - A Holland, Michigan man is recovering from serious injuries after being hurt in a crash on I-80 near mile marker 34 in East Moline.
The Illinois State Police were sent to that area around 1:50 Monday afternoon. Troopers say 58 year old Steven Wunder was driving a commercial vehicle when a passenger side tire blew. That caused his vehicle to overturn and hit a bridge. Wunder was rushed to a hospital.
KWQC TV6 reports that the bridge will remain closed due to extensive structural damage.
