Area police departments have been faced with a rash of shootings. People have been shot during some of the shootings, and others have been "shots fired" incidents.
We have a lot of crime. Not so much punishment.
No hard labor for shooters. No bread and water diets. No "cruel and unusual" punishments.
To deter this behavior, there must be harsh punishment. Threatening a shooter with "rehabilitation" will not stop the shootings.
