CLINTON, Iowa - The Clinton Fire Department has a new ladder truck and a ceremony today will dedicate it to a hero who died in the line of duty.
On January 5th, Lt. Eric Hosette responded to a fire at a grain processing facility in Clinton and died during an explosion.
KWQC TV6 reports that the department's new ladder truck will be dedicated to Lt. Hosette. There is a memorial painting on the bucket of the truck in his honor.
The ceremony will be held at the Central Fire Station at 4 p.m. Wednesday.
