Arrests Made In Paintball Shooting Spree In Village of East Davenport

EAST DAVENPORT, Iowa - Two male juveniles have been identified by Davenport Police in connection to a paintball shooting spree that happened earlier this month in the Village of East Davenport.

KWQC TV6 reports that both of the suspects are 16 and are charged with willful injury causing serious injury and willful injury with bodily injury. Both are felony charges. Both the teens were booked into the Scott County Jail.

Witnesses reporting hearing a "flick" noise at 11th and Jersey Ridge Road. The shots were fired from the back window of a small SUV. One person was struck in the back and paint balls struck a building.

The vehicle went up Middle Road. That is where a woman was hit in the face with a paintball. Witnesses again say the shot was fired from the back seat. The woman was taken to a hospital with a serious eye injury. No other injuries were reported.
