QUAD CITIES - A big boost to the United Way of the Quad Cities.
John Deere and the Quad City Storm presented them with a $12,500 check on Wednesday.
KWQC TV6 reports the money was raised through ticket sales, in-game raffles and an auction of the special John Deere jerseys work by the Storm during last Friday's game.
The money raised will got toward the United Way campaign that distributes funds to a number of organizations throughout the Quad Cities.
