DIXON, Illinois - A 39 year old Polo, Illinois man is charged with criminal sexual assault and aggravated criminal sexual abuse.
The Dixon Police Department started the investigation into Steven Johnson in November of 2019. After being identified as a suspect, investigators obtained an arrest warrant for Johnson with a bond amount of $300,000. He was taken into custody and booked into the Lee County Law Enforcement Building after not being able to post the required bond.
KWQC TV6 reports Johnson was arrested on February 10th. No further details have been released.
