Gov. Reynolds holds "Invest in Iowa" town halls across Iowa

DES MOINES, Iowa -- Iowa's Governor is asking for feedback on her "Invest in Iowa" legislative package.

"This is a place to come to start the conversation. If you have reccomendations, or questions, or there's a different way we can do that--I'm all about that" says Gov. Kim Reynolds

She says "Invest in Iowa" lowers property and income taxes, shifts mental health funding to the state's general fund, and spends money on water quality and other conservation measures through a one-cent increase in sales taxes.

Reynolds says the plan looks beyond 2020.

"We need to look at 2030 and beyond. That's what I've tried to do with the 'Invest in Iowa Act'" she says
