Police looking for woman accused of using counterfeit money in East Moline

Law enforcement are searching for a woman they say was involved in a theft and the use of counterfeit money.

Crime Stoppers of the Quad Cities say the woman used the fake money at the 7-Eleven in East Moline. According to police, she passed a fake $50 bill on April 19th. While the clerk was checking the bill with a counterfeit detection pen, police say the woman grabbed the $20 Chime Card she was trying to purchase and ran out of the store.
