2020 graduating seniors in Davenport Community Schools will get to have an in-person ceremony after all.
On Wednesday, the school district announced that they will host a "live, in-person graduation experience for each high school."
The district says the move comes after parents and students asked for an in-person celebration. "We’ve heard from many parents and students via email and on social media after last weekend’s virtual graduation on KWQC and yesterday’s email sent by principals, and we’ve listened."
The graduation will be held on Sunday, July 19th at Brady Street Stadium.
