A teenager is dead and a man is in custody after a stabbing in Cedar County.
The Sheriff's office says they received a 911 call in a rural part of the county near Clarence around 3:00 a.m. Sunday for an altercation.
Investigators say they found 19-year-old Chantz Stevens dead. 21 year old Milton Serrano Junior of Muscatine was arrested and is facing charges of first degree murder, harassment and criminal mischief.
The investigation is continuing and an autopsy is pending by the state medical examiner’s office in Ankeny.
