Rock-Island-Milan Return To Learn Plan Starts With Kids At Home

School kids in Rock Island will start the school year next week at home. Rock Island Superintendent Reginald Lawrence on Wednesday night explained the school district's Return to Learn plan to parents.

School will start online next Thursday. After a month at home, kids will start to go to school two days a week, but will be split by their last names so only half the kids are in school at the same time.

Lawrence says that plan could change if Rock Island gets more guidance from the state. There is more information about the Return to Learn plan on the district's website .
