Rapper Kanye West To Be On Iowa Ballot For Presidential Race

DES MOINES, Iowa - Rapper Kanye West will be on the presidential ballot in Iowa for the November 3 election.

The Iowa Secretary of State's office has accepted the required number of valid signatures on West's petition.

Secretary Paul Pate tweeted a list of candidates Monday whose paperwork has been accepted for the election. It included West, who is listed as unaffiliated with any party.

There have been numerous media reports that some Republican and Trump-affiliated political operatives have been assisting West in getting onto various state ballots for November’s presidential election. Forbes reported that a in text interview, West confirmed he was running a campaign to siphon votes from the presumptive Democratic nominee, Joe Biden.

The nominees for President from the Republican & Democratic parties will be added to the ballot after their nominating conventions in the next two weeks.
