After 33 years Whitey's Ice Cream is closing its store at the NorthPark Mall.
Whitey's made the announcement on Facebook over the weekend. The mall store has been closed since March due to COVID-19. Whitey's says it's time to say goodbye to the store.
“With our lease ending soon, the decision was made to permanently close the store a couple months early,” the company said in the post.
They thanked their customers and employees for their dedication and support. The remaining eight locations in the Quad Cities will remain open.
