The two men who led police on a high speed chase through Bettendorf and Moline earlier this week are facing a slew of charges on the Iowa side of the river.
Prosecutors in Davenport yesterday filed charges against 22-year-old Naytion Owens and 24-year-old Zachary Sisul. Investigators say they robbed someone at gunpoint on Wednesday, stole a truck, and tried to speed away from police.
That chase crossed the river and only ended when Moline Police say they crashed into a parked car. Owens and Sisul are in jail in Rock Island, but they will be transferred back to Iowa in the next few days.
