A third person has died from injuries sustained in a Bettendorf house fire.
The Bettendorf Police Department had previously identified two fatalities as 66 year old Robert Wickham and 5 year old Taylor Treanton, who both died at the hospital of smoke inhalation.
On Tuesday, police announced that 63 year old Mary Wickham passed away on Saturday. She was last reported to be in critical condition. The fourth resident of the home, 18 year old Jodd Wickham has been released from the hospital with minor injuries.
The fire happened at 9 Riverview Lane on Thursday, January 14th. Crews found the fire on the split-level homeās main level, which had also extended to the back of the home. Police say Jodd escaped on his own and reported three others still in the home.
Crews found Robert, Taylor and Mary and brought them outside for care and transport. All four were taken to area hospitals.
The fire is under investigation. Police donāt believe it to be suspicious.
