(Bettendorf, IA) -- As more events make a return this year following months of COVID-related shut downs, a Bettendorf tradition announces its return.
Bettendorf city leaders say they will be bringing back its 4th of July festivities, with a few pandemic changes in store.
āEach year the City of Bettendorf celebrates the 4th of July with a parade, music, entertainment, food, and fireworks,ā officials said in a Facebook post. āAfter having canceled last yearās event due to the pandemic, City Officials have decided to bring back the festivities.ā¦.with a few changes.ā
The festivities, including the parade and fireworks, will be held on Saturday, July 3rd. City leaders say they are accepting parade applications now.
You can sign-up online here or you can print out the application and mail it in. There will only be 70 entries allowed and fees will increase on June 15th.
