(Bettendorf, IA) -- A Bettendorf man is accused of repeatedly sexually assaulting a child younger than 12.
Investigators say 18 year old Wyatt Draese was arrested on Wednesday and booked on three counts of second-degree sexual abuse, a Class B felony punishable by 25 years in prison.
A Bettendorf Police Department arrest affidavit states that Draese sexually abused the child between January 2018 and August 2020. According to the affidavit, he admitted to sexually abusing the child on more than three occasions during that time.
On Thursday, bond was set for Draese at $50,000 cash-only. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for April 30th.
