(Undated) -- Food banks across Iowa and Wisconsin are receiving nearly 50,000 meals from Alliant Energy and its customers.
Between May and July this year Alliant Energy pledged to donate three meals for every customer that signed up for the company’s online account management tool, My Account.
About 16,000 customers signed up resulting in nearly 50,000 meals donated to HACAP Food Reservoir, Food Bank of Iowa, River Bend Food Bank, Northeast Iowa Food Bank, Second Harvest Food Bank, and Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin.
