(Iowa) -- The 2025 Iowa Unclaimed Property Day sets new records.
State Treasurer Roby Smith says there were more than half a million visits to the Great Iowa Treasure Hunt website during this year's Unclaimed Property Day celebration resulting in over 13 thousand claims, an increase of 92% from last year totaling more than $4.6 million dollars. The largest claim from this year's Unclaimed Property Day was over $250,000.
