BURGLARY AT BOOST MOBILE (pictured above): Sometime overnight March 5 into March 6, Boost Mobile, 409 7th Street, Moline was broken into twice. Police say someone broke the glass on the rear door to gain entry and is seen on video taking a jar containing cash donations for someone going through cancer. He is seen leaving the business. The same suspect returns a little while later, smashes a glass display case and takes phones and the cash register. The total value of the stolen items is over $1,500. The suspect is described as a slender male wearing a hooded sweatshirt, baggie pants and gloves.
QUICK CHANGE AT WALMART: On January 6, police allege the suspect pictured above brought a laptop up to the register at Walmart in Moline to purchase it. He then counted out the cash to pay for it, laying it on the counter. After the cashier re-counted it, the suspect is seen on surveillance putting some of the money back in his pocket. Police allege he pocketed $580.
CAR BURGLARIES AT BETTENDORF COMMUNITY CENTER (no images available): On Saturday, March 9 between 5:15 pm and 6:30 pm, police say someone broke into five cars parked at the Bettendorf Community Center, 2204 Grant Street. Entry was gained by the same method in all the burglaries. Car windows were broken out with an unknown object. Purses and bags that were left in plain view were taken which contained identifications, credit cards and electronics.
