There were 29 Republicans who voted against the debt ceiling Bill in the United States House of Representatives. None of them came from Iowa.
Mary Miller from Illinois's 15th District which is in my broadcast area, DID vote NO, but Iowa's Feenstra, Hinson, Miller-Meeks and Nunn locked up in support of the Bill and Speaker Kevin McCarthy.
There is no actual debt ceiling in terms of Dollars in the Bill, merely a time limit which will take it beyond the next Congress and into the lap of the next President of the United States.
