It really doesn't matter if you think it was a Fair Catch or if you believe - as I do - that the returned punt for a touchdown should have stood.
The bottom line is the Hawkeyes should have been easy winners against a not very good (I'm being kind) Minnesota team and far in the distance by the time that punt return was ruled our by the Zebras.
Once again the offense struggled to gain any kind of momentum while the Defense did it's best to keep the team close enough that a punt return might win it.
Defense and special teams. That's what the Hawkeyes are good at, but without an offense you will always come up short.
And then if you come up against a good team, like Penn State for example, expect to be beaten 31-0.
So how do you fix the Hawks?
