Twin Pines Golf Course and Mini Pines Miniature Golf Course to Open Tuesday
CEDAR RAPIDS, IA – March 20, 2020 –The Cedar Rapids Parks and Recreation Department plans to begin the golf season with the opening of Twin Pines Golf Course, 3800 42nd Street NE, on Tuesday, March 21. The clubhouse will open at 7:30 a.m., with tee times beginning at 8:00 a.m., and close at dusk through March. The driving range will also be open, and carts will be available as conditions allow. Mini Pines, the City’s miniature golf course, will also open for the season on March 21. It will operate daily from 10:00 a.m. to dusk.

The Department plans to open Gardner Golf Course, 5101 Old Golf Course Road, on Wednesday, March 22. The opening of Ellis Golf Course, 1401 Zika Avenue NW, is yet to be determined and will be announced later. Tee times may be reserved at www.playcedarrapidsgolf.com. Season passes may be purchased online at www.playcedarrapidsgolf.com or at courses after they open.
I've made it a goal of mine to golf twice a month this year, so it's time to get going, right?
