Rock Island, Illinois: The Rock Island School District is investigating a case of marijuana gummy bears. A small number of students reported they became nauseous after eating the marijuana-laced candy on Tuesday.
A district spokesperson stated that a student distributed the drug laced candy before school. The students who became sick first saw a school nurse and then their parents were called. One parent took their child to a doctor to be checked out.
The district continues to investigate and the student who supplied the drug will face consequences.
