BURLINGTON, Iowa - One person is without a home after fire destroyed their mobile home in Burlington. Firefighters were called to the Green Acres Mobile Home Park on Highway 99 in Tama Township just after 11 p.m. Sunday to find flames shooting from the home.
KWQC TV6 reports it took firefighters until 12:20 a.m. to put out the fire completely. a nearby mobile home and a car had some heat damage.
The home is a total loss and was not insured. The owner was not home at the time. The Red Cross was called in to assist.
Burlington Fire Department is investigating and the fire is not considered suspicious.
