DAVENPORT, Iowa - An arrest has been made in the break-in of the Coffee Revolution on 53rd Street in Davenport Saturday.
Police responded to the business alarm around 5:30 a.m. It was then police realized that several businesses were broken into.
KWQC TV6 reports the suspect used a brick to break the drive-thru window at Coffee Revolution and they pry the register open but failed.
Salon and Suites was also broken into and there is extensive damage to that business.
Police viewed security cameras for leads. An affidavit shows that five studios were broken into and there were attempted break-ins at three more. The footage shows the suspect breaking into Coffee Revolution and also seen trying to get into the cash register and then stealing another. The suspect then left in a tan or gold colored Cadillac.
On Sunday, January 5th, Davenport Police stopped a suspicious vehicle at 2nd and Gaines. 51 year old Antonio Holmes was taken into custody. He is charged with five counts of 3rd degree burglary, three counts of 3rd degree attempted burglary and one count of 3rd degree theft.
